Heroes University
Upon graduation from Hero High (aka the Byrne Institute for the Gifted), one receives a high school diploma and a Hero Learners permit. One can then choose to work along side an adult superhero in a co-op hero support program or apply for membership at Heroes University.
At Heroes University students are given code names, costumes, and placed in teams with a seasoned Hero mentor, who trains them to become full-fledged super-heroes. Incoming students first under go Power Placement. In which students face-off one on one with the Universitys Powers Instructor, who tests them in order to aid in their mentor and team assignment.
After Power Placement, incoming students attend a Naming Ceremony. Students in costume make a solemn oath before their fellow student peers and the University faculty. It is at the end of this speech that the student announces their heroic identity. Then comes mentor assignment. Students are placed into their respective teams and introduced to the Hero who will act as their mentor while they train.
The Heroes University campus has a 24 hour monitoring station, research labs, holographic training room, dorm space, and a connection to the World Heroes Organizations super AI powered educational intranet the Professor. Heroes University faculty is also made up of a Dean (Captain Hawk), a Counselor (the Avant-guardian), and a Powers Instructor (Omega Girl), as well as experienced superhero mentors and guest lecturers.
