My character Ronin as done on commission by the ultra talented This a another character from my Heroic U comic project.
RONIN (Victor King) Sometimes a sidekick gets older and transforms his identity from hero support to a crime fighter in their own right. Such is the case with Ronin, formerly one-half of the duo: Cloak and Dagger.
As Dagger, Vic was also the leader and member of the a group of young sidekicks called the Ultra-Teens. The brutal deaths of his former teammates at the hands of the armored villain Dark Slayer spurred him to become his own hero. This event also became a rallying point for the Age of Consent hero reform. Which led to the outlawing of heroic activity for persons under the age of eighteen and the formation of both the Byrne Institute and Heroes University.
His younger sister Amanda protects Reynard City as the new Cloak, under the watchful eye of their father; the wheel-chair bound Sentry. Vics father was the former Cloak, whose back was broken by the super-villain Bantam. The choice for his successor has also caused some tension among the two siblings.
Today Vic is now a young adult and acts as a hero mentor at Heroes University overseeing a new team of would be heroes, as the Ronin.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Essentially not everyone can be a hero because some people need saving. And someone needs to be the guy to save the civilians from.
Good stuff
